Fleeting Life.

Kitna bhi chamak le tu aaj, chaand,

Roshni teri woh kal jaisi nahi hogi.

Kahani jo ek din ki hoti hai,

Woh har roz dohrayi nahi jaati.

Fleeting life — that is what the phases of the moon teach us.

Whether it’s the well-known phrase, “This too shall pass,” or the timeless truth that “Nothing lasts forever,” the message remains the same.

This is not a pessimist’s thought. Rather, it is a realization of what life truly is about.

Look at the countless rags-to-riches stories, or the journeys from sorrow to joy, and sometimes joy to sorrow. They remind us that nothing stays the same forever.

Today turns into tomorrow, then into the day after, and with time, everything changes — our circumstances, our emotions, our possessions, and even our wisdom.

Perhaps this is the true essence of life:

To go with the flow.

Because life never stands still.
